FIRST LESSON

This is the first ceramic work which I made in year 10.  Other than the neck, most of the form was hand-built.  The color of the whole pot is completely natural - black fire process as so there are lighter and darker shades of fire mark.  This work opens up my interest towards three dimensional work.

New Museum of Contemporary Art, New York.  Located in Manhattan, this architectural work is designed by Japanese architects - Sejima and Michizawa.  This work integrates with conventional architectural works as being symmetrical and decorative.  The building looks like it is an assembly of stacks of white boxes.

This picture was taken at my balcony.  I really like this photo.

Louise Bourgeois, Cell (Glass Spheres and Hands) 1990-1993: memory, empower, precious

Ai Weiwei, Sunflower Seeds 2010: harvest, overgrown, mathematical

Stelarc, Seaside Suspension 1981: fear, seclude, fatal
