This set of stairs is intended to be made with a mixture of clear and frosted glass. By using clear glass, sunlight can be allowed into the staircase, thereby reducing electricity needs for lighting. On the other hand, by using frosted glass, boundaries can still be distinctly drawn between indoor and outdoor spaces.

The above picture shows the original idea of this set of stairs. The stairs are intended for the ease of people's usage, where our walking position are being taken care by the steps.

Set 1 (inspired by lecture):

Set 2:

This stairs is a glass spiral stair case that is suitable for both underground and above-ground stairs. The glass walls provides a unique space for the audience. The steps are deliberately made to be deeper to slow down the pace of movement.

Set 3:

Starting with the right foot, this set of stairs generates a stable pace of movement. The brownish steps contrasts with the shiny metallic handles.

Set 4 (inspired by lecture):

This set of stairs is positioned in a black tunnel with LED lighting. The top of the stairs are made wider than the bottom which creates visual illusion to the audience of being long and never ending.
